Who it is for

For Gulf families, and for Egyptian families living in the Gulf, who want a home designed with the same care as one in Cairo — by a studio that answers them in Arabic.

What we do

Full architecture and interior commissions, drawn in Cairo and documented to a standard that a Gulf contractor or fit-out house can build from without interpretation.

The climate

A house in the Gulf is designed against the afternoon. Courtyards, screens, deep reveals and shaded thresholds are settled before any finish is chosen. The oldest answers in this region still work, and we use them.

Working at a distance

Drawings, reviews and decisions travel. The studio is on site when a decision has to be made in the room. Site supervision, where it is wanted, is a separate engagement.
